Oliver Truck Center offers a storage facility for all of your fleet’s needs. A lot of large transportation companies here in the United States have trucks that they need to process out of their fleet. We offer a storage facility program that will allow them to do that, without putting strain on their current locations and terminals. If a transportation company has a lot of trucks they need to trade in or sell, but they do not have enough room at their facility, then we offer a large, safe place to store their equipment. Once the equipment is here we can then bring the trucks up to trade or sellable terms using our shop services and we can even detail them too. A lot of these transportation companies do not have the capacity to have their own shops, out service and bring their trucks up to sellable terms. Because they have their current trucks that are running, in the shop for regular maintenance.
That is where we come in. We can do their complete out service work for them, even deidentifying their trucks. We also offer shipping services to the fleet as well, to get their assets to our location or delivered to their buyers / trade in locations. Once they are here each unit is entered into our inventory CRM’s, then we can begin the check in process, and send them the condition analysis of their units. We communicate what needs to be addressed and they give us the green light to repair each vehicle to their standards and conditions. We are able to store several hundred units at our facility. We have 13 acres with plenty of room, that is secure and safe with and electric fence for security purposes. Once the assets are at our location, Oliver Truck Center can purchase these units from the fleet, and or help the fleet sell the units on a consignment basis to the public if they like. The transportation company now has Oliver Truck Centers advantages being able to advertise their units on line, and can use our advertising power to promote their equipment at our facility. Even if the fleet is just using our facility to bring their units up to trade terms, they can still trade their units in to the appropriate dealer, and we can help make sure they are in the proper trade condition. We can then arrange for all the shipping to the trading dealer for the fleet. This service allows them the space they need, they shop that is open for that type of work specifically, and this service e saves a lot of labor hours from their employees, so that they can keep concentrating on running their trucks and freight. Which is their main line of business.
